I did feel that the stop at Eileen Donan castle was pointless, though a pretty building, isn’t a castle and we couldn’t go inside. The stop for lunch at Applecross felt forced. We had brought packed lunches but felt we had to eat there as there was no other place to eat our own food, so wasted…”
